Every Trade UK was founded in May 2002 by Dawn Anderson, a Manchester business woman who was repeatedly asked by her clients whether she knew any good tradespeople. The age old problem! The inception of Every Trade UK began. Although originally called Mister Handyman (M/cr) Ltd very quickly Dawn realised that there was a much greater need out there to provide all types of tradespeople, not simply people who could carry out small jobs. Now the company has an ever growing team of tradespeople covering pretty much ‘Every Trade'across the whole of the North West with demand expected to reach the Midlands and beyond in 2007. From plumbers to tilers, to bricklayers to electricians, to decorators, etc, etc. We aim to provide ‘Every Trade For Every Job, Every Time'. Now Every Trade UK provides its services on a regular basis to thousands of domestic and commercial clients many of whom are busy professional familes, single professionals, elderly clients or companies. They all have the same need. To receive a quality tradesperson service which will give them peace of mind, project managed by excellent back office staff and that is exactly what they get from Every Trade UK.

Every Trade UK provide 4 main types of service for clients.

Small Jobs Service – Too small for us or the client to need a quote on. These type of jobs are charged on a callout fee and ½ hourly rate basis. This is where we started our business and to this day is an area we are very strong in. Clients use this service over and over again. One call to have all those irritating jobs carried out in one visit at a time convenient to yourself (including weekends and evenings if you choose at no extra charge to yourself).
Fixed Priced Work Service – These type of jobs can range from replacing windows or roof repairs right up to planning and building an extension. This is where our client wants an agreed fixed price job including materials. One of our experienced surveyors visits and prices the work with a written estimate emailed or posted out to the client. There is a small fee for this service but it is totally redeemable against either the works which are estimated on if the work proceeds or anything else that the client ever has done by us (including the small jobs service). The estimate call out fee is simply there to deter ‘time wasters' and in this way enables us to committ the necessary attention to the ‘genuine enquirers'. Once fixed price quotes are accepted a deposit is paid on the works and the work is project managed from start to finish by a team of customer services staff, estimator and contracts manager (depending on the size and necessity for supervision).
Day Rate Work Service – This type of job is usually booked when a client has a number of small jobs which don't require an estimate but wants to make savings by booking a day. Booking a full working day (8.30am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute break) will give the client over 20% savings on the same number of hours booked on the small jobs service. Many of our clients ‘save up' small jobs which are not urgent and book a day to benefit from the savings available.
Emergency On Call Service – This is exactly what it says on the tin!! It is an our of hours service. Burst pipe, electrics out, boarding up windows. It is meant primarily as a temporary measure. Work booked on this basis carries a premium charge as it is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year service that Every Trade UK provides for its domestic and commercial clients.
